The purpose of the NEHPA shall be to further the sport of horseshoe pitching in the New England area by coordinating the activities of New England state associations, and other organizations in any New England states and by promoting the sport regionally. It is the intent of the NEHPA to foster a spirit of cooperation amongst them.

By-Law Amendment
The Board of Directors has put forth an Amendment to our By-Laws. It will be added to Article II Section 1 (Membership). The following will be added to the statement;
Any long-time member of the NEHPA (10 years or more) who moves away will be eligible to compete in the NEC each year as a courtesy and to honor their long-time membership. They will be designated a (Honorary Member).
This addition to the By-laws will be brought up for a vote at the annual meeting Sunday September 6th in accordance with our By-Laws.
